Come As You Are

At Life Spring, we are a community of real people seeking an authentic relationship with God. We believe that the message of Jesus Christ is not just historical but transformational, speaking directly to the needs and lives of the people in Moorpark and beyond.

Our services are designed to inspire and uplift. Through heartfelt worship music and messages that apply Biblical teachings to everyday life, we aim to help you connect with God in a meaningful way. Join us as we explore how the message of Jesus can bring hope, purpose, and transformation to your life.

We invite you to experience a community where faith is lived out genuinely, where worship is a heartfelt expression, and where teachings are relevant and applicable. Together, we can grow in our faith and make a positive impact in our world.

We understand that going to a new place can be uncomfortable but we will do everything we can to make you feel right at home.

FAQs

  • Everyone will be dressed in what’s comfortable. Some people rock button-ups. Others T-Shirts. If you look extra snazzy, more power to you. Feel comfortable to be yourself.

  • It's upbeat, fun and exciting! At Life Spring, we understand the importance of creating an environment that fosters creativity and relaxation. Music provides a connection between our hearts and our heads. Therefore, we carefully curate a diverse musical playlist designed to inspire you to lean into God and to experience His love for you.cription

  • Each weekend we gather to hear fresh, relevant, teaching from the bible that will impact your real life. A band leads us in a time of musical worship to Jesus. We have response times where people can go be prayed for, take communion (eat bread and drink juice remembering what Jesus did for us), or give to the mission.

If you’re new, we don’t pressure you to do things like take communion or give money. We actually don’t want you to because we give as a church to create space for you. We genuinely care about you. You are our valued guest.

  • No. As our guest, we do not expect you to give financially. We appreciate the time you give to join us. Contributions you make to Life Spring or any other organization are a matter of personal choice. For those who consider Life Spring their Church family, the giving of our time and financial resources allows us to express how much God means to us in a tangible way. For such people, we will provide an opportunity to give, should they desire to do so.

  • Great question! We don’t believe in “lone ranger” Christians—or “lone ranger” churches. Authentic Christianity is meant to be lived out in community. That’s why we’re part of an association of Christian churches called Converge. Our mission together is to plant new churches and support the health of existing ones.

Through Converge, our pastors receive theological accountability, and our church benefits from financial accountability. At the same time, every church within Converge remains fully autonomous—we own our own property, make our own staffing decisions, and manage our own operations. Any financial support exchanged between Converge and its member churches is completely voluntary.

All followers of Jesus are called to advance the mission by making disciples. This can look like sharing your faith, inviting someone to church, or simply living like Christ to show how worthy He is.

  • We recognize that children can be anxious in a new environment even though we strive to create an inviting environment for those who are new. For that reason, if your child would prefer to stay with you in the service, they certainly may. We only ask that if they become disruptive to those around you that you take them to their class. If you wish to stay with your children in the classroom, please speak to the director and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

We provide exciting and educational children's programming for nursery through High School during the adult service. They will engage in age appropriate activities designed to connect Biblical values to real life issues that they face. Signs in the hallway will direct you to the appropriate classroom for your early childhood and elementary age children. Middle School and High School students are encouraged to begin in the auditorium to experience the worship portion of the adult service. Afterwards they will be dismissed to go to their class.

Our Children's classrooms are staffed with loving teachers and volunteers who, just like you, want the best for your children. It is our goal to provide a fun and safe environment where your children can experience God's love for them, learn Biblical values and build friendships with one another.

If you have an infant or toddler, please take advantage of our excellent nursery.

  • No. Being singled out anywhere is uncomfortable. We think so too.

When you feel comfortable doing so, we would like you to complete the Info Card available in the auditorium or on the app so we can know how to serve you better. We respect your privacy. If you give us your email address or cell phone number we'll follow up with a short text or email to see if there is anything we can do to assist you on your spiritual journey.

If you request to be contacted, we'll respond to your request privately and confidentially.
